It has been two decades since an iconic Kiwi album, Always and Never, took over our stereos, and channelX is bringing the crew back out of retirement for one absolute last dance. Pop-punk heavyweights Goodnight Nurse are reuniting for the Always and Never (Again!) Tour, hitting three classic venue stages across New Zealand this November before hanging it up for good.

Released back in 2006, Always and Never defined an era of Kiwi pop-punk, spawning five NZ Top 40 singles and launching a nine-year run of massive gigs. Frontman Joel Little and drummer Jaden Parkes are hitting the stage to relive the glory days, joined by original bass player Paul Taite to bring things full circle.

Alongside the tour, the album is getting its first-ever vinyl release on limited-edition purple wax. Whether you were in the pit twenty years ago or just love the tracks, this is your absolute last chance to catch them live.

On support duties for the tour, Christchurch pop-punk trio, The Rainfall, will be performing across all show dates. Combining energetic punk rock with sharp songwriting, catchy melodies and honest lyric, The Rainfall have quickly made their mark on Aotearoa’s rock scene since forming in 2023. Also on the bill are GO GETTER, who will be performing across the Auckland and Wellington dates. Raised in Mount Maunganui’s surf and skate culture, GO GETTER are steadily carrying the pop-punk torch handed to them, finishing runners-up at the National Rockquest final, making the Aotearoa Hot 20 chart twice, and are set to drop their debut EP, What’s Not to Love?!, on November 13th.
