More FM and Mai FM are teaming up with The Blues Super Rugby Pacific team with an aim to collect 50,000 non-perishable food items for four charities across Auckland and Northland.

Food insecurity is a real challenge for many people at this time of year, so we’re collecting non-perishable food items to support those most in need.

The Blues have set a lofty goal of collecting 50,000 non-perishable food items between the 3rd of November and the 4th of December, distributing them to charities before Christmas.

The four charities are: Love Soup, South Seas, The Village Community Trust and Whakaora Kai.

Anyone can get involved by donating online or bringing food to the event day at Blues HQ on Thursday the 4th of December.
