Zayn Malik has postponed three special album-listening events in London due to ill health.

The Pillowtalk singer was due to meet fans at three album playback and Q&A events at Circuit nightclub in Kingston on Monday, however, the promoters at Banquet Records announced on Sunday that they had been postponed.

"Gutted to say Monday's ZAYN events are postponed due to illness - we send our best wishes for a speedy recovery. We'll be back to ticket holders later in the coming week. Thanks for your understanding and sorry again for the disappointment," they wrote on social media.

The organisers then shared a comment from Zayn himself, which reads, "I'm sorry but unfortunately I am sick and I won't be able to make it to the UK this week as planned. We're already in the process of trying to reschedule the Banquet Q&A, and will be sharing new dates soon. Working on getting each of your info as well to send you something. Thank you for understanding and continued love and support. Big love xx Zayn."

He did not divulge any further details about his sickness or comment separately on social media.

The former One Direction singer, who is based in the U.S., was set to give fans an exclusive listen to select tracks from his upcoming album, Konnakol, participate in a Q&A, and show them exclusive footage. He was also going to take a large group photo with the audience, which fans could buy as a poster.

Due to high demand, Zayn was going to repeat the event three times in one day.

Organisers told fans that they will be given refunds if the events are cancelled or if they can't make the rescheduled date.

Fans took to social media to express their disappointment at the last-minute postponement, and noted that the album is due to be released on Friday.

"What happens if you guys can't reschedule before the album comes out?" they asked. "Then you can't really do the 'album playback' part of the event."

Some others pointed out that Zayn previously cancelled an event with Banquet Records in 2024, however, on that occasion, the show was scrapped on the day due to "unforeseen circumstances".

The 33-year-old will embark on his first-ever headline arena and stadium tour in support of Konnakol in May. He will perform in the U.K. and North and South America between 12 May and 20 November.
