Kiwi gal torn between seeing her DJ boyfriend or Justin Bieber play at Coachella

Nothing is worse than seeing a festival lineup and realising two of your favourite artists are playing at the same time. Now, imagine a relationship being involved...

A Kiwi gal has called the Coachella 2026 set times the “clash of the century” because her DJ boyfriend, 1991 (real name Fred Webb), is performing as part of Worship while another MAJOR artist takes a different stage.

Worship is set to perform on Saturday (Sunday in NZ) in a direct clash with none other than Justin Bieber. 

Rachel Flood, faced with the toughest decision any Beliber could make, took to TikTok asking what the heck she should do.

Honestly, even the comments were pretty torn. Some said supporting her partner should take priority.

“Your boyfriend! It's not even a hard choice,” one person wrote.

Another said, “Boyfriend, because what an experience for him, and you won’t share that moment with him??”

“If this is your boyfriend’s first Coachella performance, go see your bf,” added a third.

Well... it is… but that didn’t stop others from backing Biebs all the way.

“As a fellow musician’s wife, I can confidently say you’ve seen that set plenty, and you’ll be there in spirit!❤️(from the JB audience),” DJ Andrew Fedyk’s wife wrote.

“You’re seeing boyfriend (by Justin Bieber),” said another.

A third was right there with them, saying, “Girl, this is such an easy choice! You are picking between if you should watch the love of your life or your boyfriend perform. Always pick the love of your life, Justin Bieber.”

Others made a point of saying, “You don’t have Justin Bieber at home…”

All great points, but the person it really comes down to is what the man 1991 thinks - and his answer might surprise you.

“I actually don’t mind,” Fred said. “I’m actually quite gutted I don’t get to watch him to be fair.”

And then came the magical words: “Go for it!”
