Woman shares recipe for Baileys choc-mint Parfait made from supermarket mudcake

The simple recipe looks absolutely to die for.

An Australian woman has impressed the internet after she shared her incredible recipe for Baileys Parfait - using a mudcake purchased from her local supermarket.

"I bought a Woolworths Chocolate Mud Cake and sliced it in half. You'll have to remove the icing as well," she wrote on her Facebook page.

She used the drinking top of a glass to cut out circular slices from the cake before pouring a small amount of Baileys on the cake to soak through.

'I then placed a circular cake slither into the bottom of the glass as a base. Following this I mixed Baileys into custard and poured it on top,' she said.

She took a bar of Peppermint Crisp and grated it as sprinkles on the top, followed by whipped cream.

Repeat these steps until you reach the top of the glass, where you should finish with cream and grated Peppermint Crisp.

While she did have plans to include a chocolate mousse she ultimately decided to leave it out so the dessert wasn't too rich.
