TikTok user @ajvaughan discovered online that there's a really easy and fast way to clean the stains from your sofa.
All you need is a dishwasher tablet, a kitchen towel or any piece of cloth, and the lid of a frying pan or pot.
First, break the dishwasher tablet in a bucket or bowl and dissolve it in hot water. Then soak the kitchen towel before wringing it to get the excess water out. Lastly, wrap the cloth around a lid and run it over the sofa.
It seems to quickly clean the sofa, leaving it stainless!
One pet owner was amazed by this hack and said she'll continue doing this to remove her dog's smell from her sofa.
"I just did it and this will definitely be a ritual now for dog smells."
Some people were surprised at how dirty her sofa was, but one mum replied on behalf of her.
"People asking how it got so dirty.. maybe she has children who spill things?" she wrote.
This is definitely something to try next time you're having a good spring clean!
