Will Smith is generally one of the nicest guys going around in Hollywood, but like anyone, you can push the right buttons to get a reaction.
And there are few better button pushers than 50 Cent, who dominates headlines for being a troll more than he does a rapper or business mogul these days.
50 Cent sent Will Smith a series of Instagram DMs asking about Jada Pinkett Smith's "entanglement" with August Alsina while her and Will were on a break, which she recently made public on her chat show "Red Table Talk."
After asking Will if he's ok, the "Bad Boy" actor responded that he's fine and appreciates the concern.
50 then followed with "But why she tell you that s–t on a show for everybody to see?" To which Will responded, "We broke up, so she did her and I did me."
50 then decided to take the conversation in a new direction by saying "Then she said only SHE can give permission for somebody to blow her back out."
Will's reply was simple:
Alsina asserted in an interview with Angela Yee that Will gave Jada "permission" to date him, which Jada denied, saying she knows the R&B singer didn't want to be perceived as a "home wrecker."
During the episode, Will was able to joke about supporting his wife through her "transgressions," leading Jada to say, "I actually don't look at it as a transgression at all. Through that particular journey, I learned so much about myself and was really able to confront a lot of emotional immaturity, emotional insecurity — and I was really able to do some really deep healing."
