One woman learned how to siva for her wedding, to honour her fiancé's Samoan culture.
It makes it even more special, as her Samoan students choreographed, "made up every move and patiently taught her week by week."
The students "willingly gave up many lunchtimes over 4 months" to teach her siva. It really shows how much they adore their teacher.
Posted to the bride's TikTok account @abbey.tufuewood, everyone has been loving the performance. The video has already racked up about 180K views in just 16 hours since it was posted.
The video starts with the teacher learning how to dance with the students, with the caption "my beautiful students taught me my Siva for my wedding,".
It is then followed by footage of her on the wedding day. The video goes back and forth between the two footage showing how grateful the teacher is to her students.
"They designed the dance moves to match the lyrics of the song so every move was meaningful," the teacher wrote.
"Teaching young women like this is the highlight of my job and will forever be a favorite career memory for me."
One of the students who taught her the dance commented:
"AHHH WE LOVE YOU MRS. TUFUE WOOD. IT WAS SO FUN AND MEMORABLE TO GET TO TEACH THE SAMOAN LANGUAGE AND DANCES. MRS. TUFUE WOOD, ??😍😍😘"
