WATCH: Video shows Conor McGregor punching man in pub over whiskey dispute

Footage has emerged of UFC star Conor McGregor allegedly punching an elderly man inside a Dublin pub.

According to TMZ, the incident took place at The Marble Arch Pub in Dublin on April 6, but CCTV footage has only just emerged after being obtained by the website.

The report claims the Irish fighter attempted to buy a round of his Proper Twelve whiskey for all in attendance.

The alleged victim is said to have rejected the offer from the 31-year-old Irishman on two occasions after having a cup placed in front of him.

McGregor, the former featherweight and lightweight champion, reacted angrily and punched the man with a left hook, before two people pulled him away from the bar.

The victim appeared to be uninjured, remaining seated on his stool as if nothing had happened.

TMZ's report added that police immediately opened an investigation, but haven't yet made any arrests. An updated report said police are still investigating the incident.

TMZ has also approached McGregor for comment, but there has been no response, while The Marble Arch Pub said it had no comment.

It's the latest reported incident in which McGregor has lost his temper. He dodged felony charges in New York last year when he smashed a bus window with a dolly, injuring several UFC fighters onboard the vehicle.

Earlier this year, he also smashed a phone out of a fan's hand in Miami and was later arrested for robbery and criminal mischief, but the charges were later dropped.

McGregor hasn't had a fight since October last year, when he lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
