WATCH: Police officers jumping on decks at Dunedin flat party is ‘so NZ coded’

He dropped some filthy DnB for the students.

Usually, when the police rock up to a party, it’s the beginning of the end - but for one Dunedin flat, it was only getting started!

Two local police officers have been caught on camera getting amongst some dirty drum and bass.

In a video posted to TikTok, the officers turned up at a student flat party on the infamous Castle Street.

The footage of student Jordan Korevaar's set shows a male officer jumping up on stage to have a jam on the decks, whilst his female partner films from the crowd.

We love to see them letting their hair down.

The TikTok video has already gained over 100k views in just under 24 hours, and Kiwi frothers are fizzing about it.

One commenter said: “This is sooo New Zealand coded.”

“This is community policing done right,” said another.

A third added: “Most Kiwi thing I’ve seen today, chur.”

This moment reminds us of the time NZ Post Delivery driver, Rishi Kumar, went viral back in 2021, after he jumped on the decks at a Dunedin flat.

He’d popped in to make a delivery, but couldn’t resist a jam with the boys.

Rishi asked if he could come in and ended up delivering absolute heat when he got behind the decks.

If there’s one thing we Kiwis love, it’s getting around the decks for a filthy drop.
