Watch Migos' Quavo and Offset reunite on stage, paying an emotional tribute to Takeoff

This is the first time that Migos performed since Takeoff's tragic death in 2022.

The annual BET Awards went down yesterday (26.06.2023) and Migos reuniting on stage and paying tribute to their late hip hop trio member Takeoff was one of the major highlights of the night.

This was the first time Migos' Quavo and Offset came together to perform onstage since Takeoff passed away tragically in 2022.

When they first appeared on the stage, the screen behind them had a rocket ready to take off.

Quavo and Offset performed 'Hotel Lobby', a song from Quavo and Takeoff's joint project Only Built For Infinity Links.

The crowd broke into cheers immediately after recognizing the artists few seconds into the performance.

"Do it for Take" they shouted as they turned towards the rocket on the screen behind them, ready to take off.

Once the rocket took off, it revealed a photo of Takeoff with flames everywhere.

The artists then sang one of their biggest hit 'Bad and Boujee'.

Offset and Quavo both shared a snippet from their performance on Instagram

Offset wrote:

"Do this shit for the fam cuz this shit bigger than me"

Quavo wrote:

"For the Rocket"

Fans were thrilled and emotional to see this reunion and performance.

"He can finally Takeoff after witnessing the family come back together" one wrote.

"The absolute chills and joy that came over me. This is ultimate reunion. HISTORICAL. MIGOS fans needed this. It touched our hearts and brought so much joy," another wrote.

"I can't even explain the words how happy I am for them to come together to do it for takeoff" a third wrote.
