Machine Gun Kelly received one of the strangest requests from a fan in the crowd at the Roch Werchter festival in Belgium - the guy wanted MGK to punch him in the face.
In a video posted to Instagram, the musician wrote: "Making dreams come true."
In the clip, MGK is seen spotting the fan's sign. To get a closer look, he wandered down and read out the sign, which boldly asked: "I just came from Mexico 4 U 2 punch me in the face."
I wish I was joking!! You can't make this stuff up!
Naturally, he engaged in a little banter with the fan, asking why on earth they'd want him to deliver a fist to the face.
The fans responded: "I love you!" Well, talk about mixed signals!
MGK said: "I don't know, it's a lose, lose for me. I don't know if I'm gonna do it, I'll consider."
After taking a moment to think about the bizarre request for a moment, MGK decided to go for it.
Yep, he actually jumps off the stage and socked him, before adding a reassuring "I love you" to numb the pain.
Of course, fans on the internet had a field day with this unexpected turn of events.
"Bro said 'f*** me up fam' but with love," one person wrote.
Another jokingly threw in a Mean Girls reference: "'One time, Machine Gun Kelly punched me in the face... it was AWESOME.'"
While a third said: "Now that's true love bro!"
Turns out, the lucky, and maybe slightly bruised recipient of the punch was a guy named Marcos Cid de la Paz.
In the comment section of Kelly's video, Marcos spilled the beans on why he made this random request.
"Thank you very much for making my dream come true. I do not lie when I tell you that I love you and that I can feel deep in my heart the lyrics of your songs. I waited so long to see you, and I still cannot believe this happened," he wrote.
Marcos assured us: "It's not a kink or something like that (I read comments mentioning that lol). You know, I've hurt myself sometimes, and I really hope this wasn't too scary for you."
"These past days have been pretty hard for me too, and you really made my day by noticing me in the crowd and being so caring about everything," he added.
Whether you think it's wild, hilarious, or just plain outrageous, you can't deny that this incident will go down in the books as one of those iconic "did that really happen?" moments.
