Everyone heading to Harry Styles tonight (and let's face it, everyone at home too) was aware of just how charming he is on stage - but not many Kiwi fans could have anticipated how he would greet the crowd.
Harry began the show with 'Music For a Sushi Restaurant' and an enthusiastic "Kia Ora Auckland!" which prompted a huge cheer, but things really levelled up when he called out: "Tutira Mai Nga Iwi."
The massive crowd at Mount Smart didn't hesitate to launch into the iconic waiata, creating absolute scenes captured by fans filming from the back of the stadium. What a moment for Kiwi Harries everywhere!
"It's much longer than I expected!" Harry said as the song finished.
The One Direction star also confirmed he did fill out the New Zealand Census, which everyone in the country on Tuesday night was required to do.
"Did everyone do the census thing?" he asked. "I've done it, I think."
"As long as we're all accounted for we can continue," he says. "Otherwise, we have to stop the show and fill out the paperwork."
I meeeeeeean.?! We knew he would be good, but we didn't know he would be THIS good.
Rest assured we will have ALL the highlights for you tomorrow, but right now... the show must go on!
