WATCH: Eric Clapton leads guitar royalty as they shred together to pay tribute to Jeff Beck

Rod Stewart, Billy Gibbons, Gark Clark Jr. and many more performed.

Eric Clapton led an all-star line-up of musicians who paid tribute to legendary guitarist Jeff Beck earlier this week.

Former Jeff Beck Group bandmates Ron Wood and Rod Stewart were joined on stage by Billy Gibbons, Derek Trucks, Gary Clark Jr., Kirk Hammett, Johnny Depp, Nathan East, the list goes on.

The music royalty gathered at London's Royal Albert Hall for the special occasion.

"I never thought I'd be here playing a concert and it's a tribute to my dear old pal, Jeff Beck," said Rod Stewart. "But we're here and we're gonna do him proud."

Stewart added that the group only had one hour of rehearsal.

Throughout the night of love and appreciation for a guitarist widely regarded as one of the finest to ever pick up a six-string axe, many of Beck's best tracks spanning his whole career were played.

Clapton played a majority of the night's songs, including 'Infatuation', alongside Stewart, Clark Jr, and the EC Band, 'Let Me Love You', 'People Get Ready', and many more.
