French electronic music pioneers Daft Punk shared a cryptic Instagram post with a link to their Twitch and Rolling Stone confirmed the duo will share will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album, Homework, by releasing a deluxe edition of the album and hosting a one-time-only livestream of a 1997 concert.
The footage is from a 1997 show at the Mayan Theater in Los Angeles towards the end of their "Daftendirektour" world tour. Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter playing the entire set without their signature helmets.
The deluxe edition of Homework will arrive later today and according to The Rolling Stone is set to feature a bunch of previously unavailbe for streaming remixes.
The duo announced their break up one year ago today, and this seems like the ultimate way for fans to celebrate their music.
