WATCH: Benji Marshall's whanau perform incredibly emotional haka following his 300th NRL match

Whanau above everything.

Despite the scoreline not being what they had hoped, Benji Marshall's whanau weren't letting that get in the way of what was a truly special occasion for the Kiwi legend.

Playing for his beloved West Tigers in his 300th NRL match, Benji was the focus of the night. And rightly so, considering all he's done for the club, and the game itself.

But none of the accolades, tributes and media attention could compare to the love Benji's whanau showed him after the match. His whanau took to the field following the Tigers 30-18 loss to Parramatta Eels, performing a moving haka for their boy.

Marshall became the 38th player in league history to reach the 300-game mark, making his debut at the tender age of 18 back in 2003.

You're a legend Benji, enjoy the occasion, you've more than earned it!
