Where to watch Ozzy Osbourne's final Black Sabbath show in NZ cinemas

Ozzy Osbourne's final ever concert with Black Sabbath is coming to select New Zealand cinemas for two nights only, on October 28 and 29.

The concert film, Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back To The Beginning, captures the Prince of Darkness taking the stage one last time in his hometown of Birmingham, just 17 days before his death in July 2025.

Filmed at a sold-out Villa Park stadium, the massive farewell show saw Ozzy reunite with original Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for the first time in 20 years.

And they weren't the only heavy hitters involved.

Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Pantera and Slayer were among the rock and metal legends who joined the farewell, with Jason Momoa hosting and Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello serving as musical director.

The film features performances from the night, behind-the-scenes footage and personal reflections from musicians inspired by Ozzy and Sabbath.

During the concert, Ozzy told the crowd: "You have no idea how I feel - thank you from the bottom of my heart."

Now Kiwi fans can experience that emotional send-off on the big screen, with Event Cinemas screening the film at three locations:

• Auckland: Event Cinemas Queen Street and Albany

• Wellington region: Event Cinemas Queensgate, Lower Hutt

V-Max screening options are also available.

Tickets are on sale now, but you've only got Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October to catch it. Have a geeze at all the cinema and ticket info here.

We’re stoked that we’ll be able to watch this one on the big screen.
