Unreal 14-sec festie vid shows a daring baggie save as a cop watches

The sheriff's reaction is priceless.

Festivals always give us some wild stories to tell after, but this one might just be one of the best.

An Instagram video has gone viral after a rubbish collector at a US festival spotted a small baggie of who-knows-what (we have some ideas) on the ground amid the party people.

A certified GC, the bloke hovered over the bag with his grabbers for an appropriate amount of time, getting the attention of the nearby punters instead of chucking it straight away.

It didn't take long for someone to slam a Doc Marten down on it and claim it as their own, at which point the bin man sauntered away, minding his own business like the legend he is.

What came next was a plot twist of cinematic proportions, as the camera panned to a nearby police officer, giving the crew nothing but a headshake and a grin from behind his impressive mo.

An absolute jumpscare for any festie goer - even just watching it made me feel like I was in the shit. Luckily, the officer cracked a laugh and let everyone get back to their good vibes - at least as far as we can see.

The comments on the clip are brilliant too. One person wrote from the Sheriff's POV: "Please don't make me have to work today. I'm enjoying the vibes.

Another wasn’t buying his good cop act: Ya'll think the sheriff is cool. Nah, he’s waiting to see who pockets it 😂.”

“Plot twist: the cop planted it and just eagerly waiting 😂,” said a third.

Not everyone believed it was real though. "It’s prolly one of those annoying stickers lol," someone said.

Another agreed: "It's a sticker, and guessing by the grin the officer put it down XD."

A third said: “I’m surprised it wasn’t attached to a fishing line with someone waiting to yank it across the field.”

Whatever it was, the whole scene definitely goes down as some peak festie content.

Just in case it wasn’t obvious, picking up random substances off the ground is never a good idea - unless you’re actually tossing it in the bin, then go right ahead.

Safer festies together, my friends ;)
