Urzila Carlson is known for her ‘no bullsh-’ tolerance levels, but one of her latest shows has proven that her crowd takes the same approach.
Mid-set, the comedian quickly picked up on a group of audience members using her show’s safe word to flag another woman who was allegedly making “homophobic” comments.
“Bucket… Buckeeet... BUCKET!” a group of people shouted in a video Urzila posted on Instagram.
“Bucket?” Urzila asked, before clocking what was going on. “Oh, get out. Seriously?”
Without ANY hesitation, she called for security to step in and usher the rude audience members out.
“Don’t pick a fight, just get out,” she told the woman. “That’s usually how it works when the whole room of people think you’re a twat.”
After another fan alerted Urzila that the behaviour was homophobic, she didn’t hold back.
Channeling her best Aussie twang, she shouted: “We’re gonna come kick your f***ing c**** in.”
“Why didn’t you say that before?” she laughed. “I’d take my shoes off and kick them in the a**hole.”
Urzila made it clear she’s not afraid to protect her crowd, even mid-show.
Fans loved her quick actions on having the woman kicked out and for having the safe word system.
“I didn’t even know you did this at shows!” one person commented. “What a brilliant way to confuse and de-escalate potentially dangerous audience members while getting them removed quickly.”
Another wrote: “Even after that drama, she brought the crowd right back to funny vibes and laughter. She’s a good soul and an amazing comedian.”
“You are an absolute legend!! We need more people like you," a third added.
Safe to say an Urzila Carlson show is never going to be short of entertaining... even if there's a bit of disturbance throughout.
