I asked the A Little Bit Extra Close Personal Friends to vote for their all-time favourite Clueless line, and the results absolutely delivered. Honestly, narrowing it down to just five felt impossible because this movie is basically one giant collection of iconic one-liners.

Here’s what made the cut…

5. “You’re a virgin who can’t drive!”

Savage. Brutal. Completely unhinged. Thirty years later and this line still gets quoted on a weekly basis somewhere in the world.

4. “Ugh, as if!”

Could this have been anywhere other than the top five? Absolutely not.

Cher’s iconic eye-roll and “Ugh, as if!” didn’t just become the most famous quote from Clueless—it became an entire personality trait for millennials in the ’90s and early 2000s.

3. “Rollin’ with the homies.”

Confession time… I don’t know all the lyrics.

I literally just know the “Rollin’ with the homies…” part, and I know I’m definitely not alone in that.

2. “Whatever.”

Amber’s perfectly timed clapback during the classroom debate deserved every single vote it got.

Honestly, my sister used that one on me far too many times growing up.

This one made me ridiculously happy.

I genuinely thought Ty’s random obsession with the word “sporadically” might just be one of my weird niche favourites, but so many of you voted for it.

To this day, I reckon there are thousands of millennials who only know what “sporadic” and “sporadically” mean because of Clueless. I know I certainly do.

The fact that a movie released almost 30 years ago still has people quoting it word for word proves why Clueless remains one of the greatest comedies ever made. And with a sequel officially on the way, it’s safe to say a whole new generation is about to discover why Cher Horowitz has been living rent-free in our heads for decades.
