Britney Spears has officially called it quits. kinda! The pop icon revealed that she will "probably" never perform again because past experiences have left her "traumatised".
In a recent Instagram post, Britney explained her ongoing struggle with her 13-year conservatorship and how it has destroyed her passion for performing.
"I'm pretty traumatized for life and yes I'm pissed as fk and no I probably won't perform again just because I'm stubborn and I will make my point."
The now-deleted caption continued to explain how Britney was not happy - in fact, she was pissed about her lack of creative control in her career, saying that the only visual she liked from that time was for her song 'Work Bitch'.
Britney also added her discomfort with the dancers her team hired for her her tours and how she often felt "humiliated" working with the "tiniest girls".
"I'm an extremely short lady but of course, my team always hired the tiniest girls to be on stage with me, like 8 girls talk about humiliation good god. and tours without conservatorship I only had 4 girls or 2 on state with me!!! JUST SAYING. you think I'm being silly? you try being up there and feeling like that."
The pop star also revealed that the photographers were a huge issue when touring.
"I mean they could have at least cheated and retouched them for me.just saying.2 day shoots for a new show in Vegas literally the worst ever.and me excited for the pictures for 5 months on tour.they never showed me any."
She also took aim at her father, Jamie Spears, who was the conservator of her estate from 2008 to 2021.
Let me tell you, Britney did NOT hold anything back with her final sentence.
"Psss. and father the beautiful picture you guys put up of me in New York City for Pepsi, making me cry. see this picture right here.. Kiss my god damn mother fkn ass you fkn bastard."
Queen did not leave any crumbs and you know what, we completely understand!
It would be extremely sad for us true Britney fans to never see her perform again, but after EVERYTHING this gal has been through she deserves to take all the time she needs and if that means never performing again, that is completely fair!
