Alright legends, we've barely caught our breath off the back of that insane Metallica show, but there's no rest for the wicked around here - Tool is playing two gigs this weekend at Spark Arena.
Maynard and the boys are about to treat Tāmaki Makaurau to two nights of mind-bending visuals, intricate rhythms, and high production - it's their first time back in 5 years, so you know it's going to be a ripper.
If you're heading along, here's everything you need to know:
Are Tool Auckland tickets sold out?
At the time of writing, a handful of tickets have been released for each show - some are restricted view, and some are pretty decent - but they won't last long.
Tool Auckland Set Times
Doors open at 6 pm, and Aussie rockers Headsend kick things off at 7:30 pm.
Tool takes the stage at 8:30 pm.
The Official Rock Tool Pre Party
No plans before the gig? We’ve got ya sorted.
The Rock’s hosting the official Tool pre-parties at Dr Rudi’s Rooftop Brewing Co. before both Tool shows, starting at 2pm.
Expect Rock announcers, live tunes, merch giveaways and Cold ones.
Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd November. Free entry. First in, first served.
Tool Auckland Merch
There's no official word on the merch situation yet, but Spark Arena has a merch caravan out the front of the arena, which punters online say usually opens around 4 pm for evening shows.
There are also two merch stands on the upper level of the building.

Getting to and from the gig
Spark Arena is located at 42-80 Mahuhu Crescent, Parnell, Auckland
By bus or train
Britomart Station is a 10-15 minute walk from Spark Arena and is on all major bus routes. Stairs and an entrance at the eastern end of the Britomart platform will take you out onto a walkway that will take you to Britomart Place, which leads to Beach Road and Mahuhu Crescent. The Beach Road stop on the Inner Link Bus Route is 10-15 minute walk, and operates 7 days a week.
By ferry
The Downtown ferry terminal is a 10-15 minute walk. Take the scenic waterfront route via Quay Street or the sheltered path along Customs Street East and Beach Road if it's pissing down.
By car
Traffic and parking are likely to be pretty nuts, but if you must drive, here are some nearby parking spots:
Britomart Car Park (Corner of Quay Street and Britomart Place, approximately 8 minutes walk)
Railway Car Parks (Te Taou Crescent, approximately 5 minutes walk)
Tangihua Street Car Park (Tangihua Street, approximately 6 minutes walk)
The Ronayne Street Carpark (Approximately 6 minutes walk)
30 Mahuhu Crescent car park (Approximately 1 minute walk)
The best place to drop passengers is by the footbridge on Quay Street.
