Tom Holland has been hospitalised after a stunt went wrong on the set of ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ in Scotland.
The 29-year-old actor was taken to the hospital over the weekend with a mild concussion, pausing filming on the highly anticipated upcoming Marvel movie.
Reports from Rolling Stone say the details surrounding Holland’s accident remain unknown, but confirm no one else was injured during the incident.
He’s expected to take a short break “out of precaution” before returning to the Glasgow set, according to Deadline.
Reshuffling will happen so Tom can rest from filming to recover, but production will continue.
Just last month, Tom shared a behind-the-scenes clip of Tom putting the Spidey suit back on for the first time since 2021’s ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’.
“It’s day one, my fourth ever day one on Spider-Man,” Tom said in the clip.
“It feels different this time, somehow. We’ve got some familiar faces on set. I’m just going to do my best, hopefully get it right… no pressure.”
It was the first time fans had been able to watch on set on day one of filming, and Tom shared how exciting it was to connect with them.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, was due to hit cinemas on July 31, 2026 - it’s unclear if that release date will change following the incident.
We wish Tom a speedy recovery.
