This waterfront bar is doing 1kg Tomahawk steaks to suss your Father's Day lunch

Your dad's earnt it.

When Father's Day comes around you always want to make sure to treat your dad.

The socks, shirts, and man-cave signs do help him out we're sure, but there is one thing that most Dads around the world will always appreciate: a darn good steak with an ice-cold beer and better company (that's you).

A quality feed can bring families closer, and shouting your dad one would go some way in paying back all that he's done for you over the years.

Luckily, a bar on Auckland's waterfront is providing that ideal meal.

Saint Alice, located on the corner of Quay street and Lower Hobson street, is offering one whole kilogram of 55-Day Dry Aged Ribeye Tomahawk Steak.

They posted the feed to their gram - complete with duck fat potatoes, creamed spinach, housemade jus, béarnaise, and compound butter.

Oh my that sounds incredible.

There'll also be some beers on offer to keep dad's thirst quenched. Just make sure you book and order in advance if you want to treat your dad to a classic father's day feed.

If your Pops is more of a ribs guy, no need to fret. Another spot on the waterfront can provide you with that.

Dr Rudi's Rooftop bar is offering a Father's Day special of a half rack of ribs, fries, slaw and a pint of their own beer for lunch and dinner this Sunday. They say they'll even chuck a Dr Rudi's bib your Dad's way "so he can keep that shirt you got him last year clean."

The ribs, bibs, and beer combo is $55 per person, so if that sounds like a bit of you, make sure you book at their website ASAP.

If you're not celebrating Father's Day this year, maybe you just wanna chow down on a hearty steak with your gals instead? No shame in that.
