Passionate about mental health and mullets? Boy, are these the shoes for you!
Aussie brand Volley is doing the unthinkable and selling shoes with Mullets for mental health. Not only do they look good, they feel good too as 100% of profits from the Mullet Shoe will be going to Black Dog Institute.
Black Dog Institute is an Australian non-for-profit facility for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mood disorders such as anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. Tasman Cassim from Black Dog Institute has said,
In a statement released on their website, Volley talked about the odd-looking shoes,
"100% of the profits from this limited release shoe will be donated to Black Dog Institute in support of the amazing Mullets for Mental Health cause, encouraging you to shape and grow your mullet for the month of September to raise much-needed funds for mental health research."
"We understand not everyone can grow a mullet. which is why we're giving you the next best thing! The Mullet Shoe comes with a Velcro detachable mullet with hair that's perfect for styling, cutting, dying, however you want to rock it."
This isn't the first time the company has gone viral. Volley last went viral with their Victoria Bitter collab back in 2020.
The Mullet shoes will cost you a pretty penny at $84.99AUD but all profits are going to a great cause.
