The OG 'Mean Girls' cast have reunited for a slightly cringe, nostalgia-filled video

This is almost the 'Mean Girls 2' we deserved!

Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Seyfried have reunited for a Mean Girls-themed ad, and I think I'm in a nostalgia OVERLOAD!

The two OG actresses, as well as their co-star Lacey Chabert, reprised their roles after nearly 20 years to star in Walmart's new Black Friday advert.

The hilarious video sees the three characters from the ICONIC 2004 flick as grown-ass adults.

Cady Heron returns as a guidance counsellor while Karen Smith remains a weather reporter and Gretchen Wieners is a hands-on mother.

Loads of other actors who played smaller parts in the film, such as Rajiv Surendra (Kevin Gnapoor) and Daniel Franzese (Damian Leigh), also made an appearance. Plus Missy Elliot is a P.E teacher - that's so FETCH!

During the ad, many of the film's most iconic scenes were revisited, such as the Jingle Bell Rock performance at the winter talent show.

Now, this might be a big call from me, but I'm willing to overlook the cringey ad inserts and call this the 'Mean Girls 2' we deserved!

Let's be so for real, 'Mean Girls 2' (the actual one) was baaaaaad.

"It was so nice being back together after all these years. It was great catching up with everyone," Lindsay told People on the reuniting with the original cast.

Lacey added: "It was wonderful to spend the day with Amanda and Lindsay and it was so much fun getting to reminisce and be together again."

Rachel McAdams, who played Regina George in the teen classic, does not appear in the commercial - and tbh we feel personally victimised.
