The Corrs honour the late Christine McVie with beautiful cover of Fleetwood Mac's 'Songbird'

An emotional listen.

The Corrs have released an emotional cover of Fleetwood Mac's 'Songbird.'

But it's not your average cover – it's a beautiful tribute to the legendary Christine McVie, and it's so good it might just bring a tear to your eye.

The release of the cover coincided with the first anniversary of the passing of Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie on the 30th of November.

The Corrs rendition of 'Songbird' features on the band's newly reissued and expanded vinyl version of 'Best Of The Corrs.'

They've spiced things up by giving it a golden touch on limited edition 2LP gold vinyl.

Two other tracks were recorded in tribute to the Fleetwood Mac singer, including,' Little Lies' and 'Everywhere'.

Taking a stroll down memory lane, 'Best Of The Corrs' features the band's first three studio albums – 'Forgiven Not Forgotten,' 'Talk On Corners,' and 'In Blue.'

Back in March, Christine's bandmate Stevie Nicks paid an emotional tribute to her friend performing 'Landslide' at the launch of her co-headlining tour with Billy Joel.

During her performance, a series of pictures of Nicks and McVie covered the screens as Nicks belted out a beautiful rendition of Fleetwood Mac's track.

At the end of the song, a visibly emotional Nicks said: "There's really not much to say. We just pretend that she's still here, that's how I'm trying to deal with it."

The British singer-songwriter passed away peacefully aged 79 while in hospital "in the company of her family".
