Heads up, one popular kid's yoghurt product has been recalled around the country due to some products containing "foreign matter".
We all want to give our little ones the best, healthiest snacks, and yoghurt is a go-to favourite for many parents. But as of the 15th of October, two batches of The Collective Suckies Strawbery that have been available in New Zealand stores have been recalled due to black plastic.
So, if you've been picking up these probiotic yoghurt pouches for your kiddos, pay close attention.
The 4-pack of Strawberry flavoured yoghurts has been sold in-person and online at multiple New Zealand supermarkets including Countdown, New World and PaknSave.
The contaminated batches include:
Batch 28798 T3 (Best Before: 20 October 2023)
Batch 28798 T1 (Best Before: 21 October 2023)
If you find any of these batches lurking in your fridge, don't panic. The Collective advises you to dispose of them and get in contact for a full refund.
So, if these are a regular in your household, it may pay to check now to ensure your little ones aren't munching on anything that might be potentially harmful.
