Tekashi 6ix9ine took the stand in his Manhattan federal court trial on Tuesday, which saw the 'GUMMO' rapper testify against gang members of the Nine Trey Bloods, who the rapper was formerly closely linked to.
According to TMZ, Tekashi spent two hours on the stand as former Nine Trey members watched him reveal his relationship and history with the gang.
Reports say that the rapper also nervously ID'd the defendants, Aljermiah "Nuke" Mack and Anthony "Harv" Ellison, as affiliates of the Nine Trey Bloods. The rapper then went on to detail that his affiliation with the gang first began during the filming of his 'GUMMO' music video, which is also where he met his manager Kifano "Shotti" Jordan.
Prosecutors showed stills of the video, and the rapper then identified a number of gang members who featured on screen.
6ix9ine also claimed that he never had to participate in an initation to the gang, and that his role was just to fund their gang activities through his musical exploits.
The "FEFE" rapper also went on to identify fellow rapper Trippie Redd as a member of a rival Bloods sect.
Tekashi then eviscerated the last shreds of any 'street credibility' he may still have by admitting that he agreed to snitch as part of a plea deal, providing key evidence for prosecutors. He then detailed that he began cooperating with feds the same day he was arrested on racketeering charges in 2018.
Tekashi's willingness to snitch has not been recieved well by fellow rappers, with Meek Mill summarising it best:
