Taylor Swift’s mystery countdown convinced fans a 'Toy Story 5' collab is coming

Taylor Swift is teasing us again… I repeat, mother is TEASING US!

Swifties are currently deep in detective mode after noticing what could be a hint at a new collab with Disney's Pixar.

Because if there’s one thing Swifties know all too well, it’s that Taylor LOVES a countdown. So naturally, when a 48-hour countdown suddenly appeared on her official website overnight, the die-hard fans clocked it immediately.

The timer reportedly only stayed up for about 10 minutes before disappearing again - which has only raised more questions.

The countdown featured a blue-and-white cloud background, and Swifties have noted it looks very similar to Pixar’s 'Toy Story' aesthetic.

“The background for Taylor’s countdown looks like the wallpaper from 'Toy Story',” one fan wrote.

And with the fifth instalment of the film on its way, the chance of a TS song featuring on the soundtrack is looking likely.

So as Swifties do best, they’ve gone and pieced the clues together - because if there’s anything Taylor loves more than a countdown, it’s an Easter egg.

Others have been pointing out subtle clues Taylor has dropped recently, including similar cloud imagery, cactus, and TS beaded bracelets that featured in her 'Opalite' music video.

“So she’s quite literally been shoving ‘Toy Story’ in our faces this whole time 😭,” the official Eras Tour X account wrote, alongside a picture of Taylor wearing an outfit featuring pops of all the main colours of 'Toy Story 5' logo.

Not to mention the horseshoe necklace that feels very Woody-coded.

Someone else pointed out that the character Forky and his bride look very similar in the film’s poster to when Taylor’s fiancé, Travis Kelce, made a surprise appearance on stage during her Eras Tour last year.

At this stage, no official announcement has dropped, and Taylor has said absolutely nothing.

So for now, we’re gonna have to wait patiently for another update… and by that, I mean refresh every five minutes until we know what the heck this was all about.
