Written as a call to action for new generations of leaders (Hau Kiwi), 'Taka Rawa' carries a message of unity, vision, and purposeful collaboration. At its heart, the waiata reminds us that true abundance, equity, and prosperity can only be achieved when tangata whenua and indigenous communities work alongside all peoples to co-create the nation we aspire to be.
