Silcrow Releases New Single, Unclean

Auckland rock band Silcrow is making their highly anticipated return with the release of their new single, Unclean.

The four-piece – best known for their dynamic live gigs and grungy, guitar-driven sound – is back and better than ever, with a string of new music on the way. With a new bassist and producer among the ranks, Unclean is a high-octane, headbanging anthem that marks an exciting new chapter in the band’s musical journey.

Unclean was recorded, mixed, and produced by Troy McKubre (The Gentle Men, Solstate) at Old North Studios, an Auckland recording suite owned and operated by McKubre and New Zealand singer-songwriter Boh Runga.

It was then mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Ted Jensen (Sterling Sound), who has worked on iconic albums from The Eagles’ Hotel California to The Rolling Stones’ Some Girls and Green Day’s American Idiot.
