Shihad have just celebrated the 20th anniversary of their iconic record Pacifier, and to celebrate, they're releasing a special edition vinyl. Too good!
The band announced on Friday (August 19) that pre-orders for the vinyl, which is their first ever, are open now. It's set to officially release on February 17th, 2023.
"Finally! To celebrate its 20th anniversary, we're releasing our Pacifier album on vinyl!! This super deluxe version is a thing of beauty and has been remastered to sound awesome! (Especially at high volume!)," Frontman Jon Toogood said.
"This very limited edition is gonna go quick so make sure you grab yours before they're all gone!"
At the time of the release in 2002, singles 'Comfort Me', 'Run' and 'Bullitproof' from the album went on to be hit singles nationwide, with 'Bullitproof' peaking at #27 on the global Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, and #37 on the global Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart.
The news of the vinyl comes off the back off the recent announcement that Shihad are set to tour their 2021 album OLD GODS next year. You can grab tickets for that here.
