Shawn Mendes goes Instagram official with Bruna Marquezine

Shawn Mendes has marked his girlfriend Bruna Marquezine's birthday with a sweet message.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the Canadian singer-songwriter wished his girlfriend a happy 31st birthday.

"Feliz aniversário my baby," he captioned a slideshow of snaps. "You are a light and a mãe (mother) in every room you walk into. Not to be tooooo sappy but you've truly changed my life and I am so so grateful for you. Eu te amo muito muito muitoo (I love you so, so, so much) !!!"

Shawn also included photos of Bruna at the Casa Amarela Providência community centre in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

"We all do amor... & thank you @casaamarelaprovidencia for what you're doing!" the 27-year-old added.

Last month, the pair was photographed visiting a farmers' market in Rio de Janeiro.

Shawn and Bruna were first linked in late 2025. The new post marks the first time the Stitches hitmaker has posted snaps of himself and the Brazilian model-actress on social media.

Previously, Shawn dated the likes of Camila Cabello and Sabrina Carpenter, while Bruna was in a relationship with footballer Neymar from 2013 until 2017.

Back in October 2024, Shawn noted that he was trying to take the "pressure" off finding "The One".

"When you're single, there's this pressure of looking for 'The One,' who's 'The One?'... Damn, that's a lot of pressure to put on someone when you first start dating," he told fans at a concert. "For me, I've just been trying to take that pressure off of whoever, and just allow myself to experience the love that is happening in that moment, wherever and however that's happening. Man, we all need a little bit of cuddling, a little bit of hugging."
