Benny Blanco has revealed that his wife Selena Gomez misplaced her handwritten vows five days before the wedding.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night, the music producer revealed that he saved the day and found the actress/singer's handwritten vows "right before the wedding" in September last year.

"(The vows were missing) for like, four days. And I found them, right before the wedding! They were handwritten," he said of Gomez's missing vows, before noting that being the one to find the missing vows made him look good.

"But how good is it? It made me look so good. It was like the best thing I could have done. I'm about to marry her and then I find the thing? She was crying because she couldn't find (them)."

Benny insisted that he didn't take a sneak peek at the vows before giving them to Selena, adding, "I closed my eyes and handed them to her. I swear! I swear I didn't look."

The music star appeared on the talk show with his best pal Dave 'Lil Dicky' Burd to discuss their new podcast, Friends Keep Secrets.

Dave, who served as the officiant at the wedding, revealed that he had to rewrite the opening of his speech because Selena intended to speak about certain moments in her vows.

Benny recalled, "She said (on the phone), 'Hey, just make sure Dave doesn't say anything about this part or this part because it's part of my speech.' And that was the whole opening three minutes of his speech."

Dave quipped, "I wanted to push back, but it was her wedding."

Selena and Benny began dating in 2023 and got engaged in December 2024. They tied the knot in California on 27 September.
