Saski releases new single 'Pretty Little Island'

We are loving this new track!

Saski's new song 'Pretty Little Island' is the first track off Saski's upcoming debut EP.

Where do you call home? I feel as if many places are now home to me after living in several countries in the past 6 years! Nelson is my first home though - where I was raised and grew up. What inspired your song 'Pretty Little Island'? I was living in San Francisco, about to leave for New Zealand. It was really hard having to say goodbye after two years of friendships and family. Pretty Little Island was born out of those feelings and changes that I was experiencing. What's your proudest musical moment? When I released my first single during my time at Uni, I didn't expect it to take off like it did. I didn't know anything about the music industry and looking back now, I'm proud of how it happened so organically and how much I've learnt since then. What's a Kiwi song you're loving at the moment? I recently went to hear Tiny Ruins play in Auckland - her voice is incredible and soothing! I've been listening to her album, Some Were Meant for Sea, a lot since then, especially while I'm working. What's one artist you would love to collaborate with? Blue Sky Thinking but I would LOVE to collaborate with Aaron Dessner and Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) on their project, Big Red Machine! They have some really cool and diverse artists they've written with. Where can we find you on social media? @saskimusic for IG and FB
