Salman Khan to Kick Off ‘Koffee With Karan’ Season 9 Finale

Salman Khan is set to return to the coffee couch as the very first guest of Koffee With Karan Season 9, marking the start of the long-running celebrity chat show's ninth and final season. JioHotstar unveiled a teaser-promo on Monday, October 12, confirming the news ahead of the upcoming premiere.

The promo features Salman in his signature candid style, announcing his return to the show himself and setting the tone for a season billed as a farewell run.

This is far from Salman's first time on the couch. The actor previously delivered some of the franchise's most viral moments—most notably opening Season 4 and celebrating the milestone 100th episode in Season 5 alongside his brothers, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan.

The announcement closely follows host Karan Johar's recent Instagram update, where he confirmed that the ninth edition will mark the definitive conclusion of the show. Since debuting in 2004, Koffee With Karan has spanned eight seasons and 161 episodes over two decades, growing into a cornerstone of Indian pop-culture commentary and celebrity discourse.

Aiming to go out on a high note, the makers have chosen one of the show's most iconic guests to lead the final run. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Koffee With Karan Season 9 will premiere exclusively on JioHotstar on October 14, 2026, with Salman Khan taking the hot seat. Photo - India Today
