Our favourite blonde superstar, Sabrina Carpenter, will be starring in and producing a live-action musical remake of ‘Alice in Wonderland’.
The news comes after the 2026 Grammy Awards announced the singer’s six nominations for her latest album, ‘Man’s Best Friend’. And honestly… what can’t she do at this point?
An article published by Deadline revealed that Sabrina would be working with director Lorene Scafaria on the Universal Pictures project, inspired by Lewis Carroll’s 1865 novel.
While there have been multiple ‘Alice in Wonderland’ remakes, including Tim Burton’s 2010 movie, this will be the first time the story will be adapted into a musical for the big screen.
This won’t be Sabrina’s first rodeo when it comes to acting; the singer has also starred in the Disney TV show ‘Girl Meets World’ and movies ‘The Hate U Give’ and ‘Tall Girl’.
Fans could not contain their excitement in the comment section, with one fan of the singer writing: “I was hoping she’d do another movie musical - this sounds perfect.”
Another added a hilarious pun with “I can’t wait for the Mad Hatter’s Espresso party,” (in reference to her 2024 song - great gag).
“This is absolute perfection,” said a third.
Sabrina, who is currently on her ‘Short n’ Sweet’ tour, is proving time and time again that she is full of surprises after a hugely successful year.
No word yet on when filming or production will begin, but we know the pint-sized starlet will deliver an incredible performance.
