Make The Rock 2000 Final Day a public holiday

Every year, thousands of Kiwis vote in The Rock 2000 before celebrating one massive final day. We reckon it's time that day became a public holiday.
People book annual leave. Bosses mysteriously lose half their staff. "Working from home" suddenly means "working from the pub."
Let's be honest, it's already a public holiday in spirit, and we reckon it's about time it got the respect it deserves. There's also a serious drought of public holidays between Matariki and Labour Day. Coincidence? We think not. So here's the plan.
Friday, 25 September. The Rock 2000 Final Day. Official public holiday.
Will it actually happen? Not if we sit around doing bugger all. That's where you come in.
Sign the petition below, send it to your mates, your work group chat, your uncle’s dog’s cousin, and make your voice heard.
Because if we're going to wag work anyway, we may as well make it legal.
After you've signed, no need to donate - just by signing, you've done plenty. Hit the button at the bottom that says "Sorry, I can't do anything right now", then click "Skip for now", and finally "See news on the petition I signed" and you're all done!
