Robert Pattinson 'spiralled hard' about filming 'big scene' in The Drama

Robert Pattinson "spiralled hard" about filming a "big scene" in his upcoming movie The Drama.

In the upcoming romantic comedy-drama, the Twilight actor stars alongside Zendaya as Charlie and Emma, a happily engaged couple whose wedding week goes off the rails when unsettling truths are revealed.

During a conversation with Zendaya for Interview Magazine, Pattinson admitted that he struggled to articulate what he wanted to achieve in a big scene.

"I can't really communicate what I'm trying to do," he shared. "On The Drama, for instance, there's that big scene when I'm giving a speech to you - the amount of times where I feel like I'm totally insane... I can feel something so deeply and I'm trying to explain it to a director or anybody around me and no one understands."

Recalling her memory of the scene, the Euphoria actress replied, "I remember you kind of spiralled hard about that scene, but where you and (writer-director) Kris(offer Borgli) landed was really beautiful."

Pattinson also revealed that he was "so aggressive" to Charlie "right from the beginning" as he was the first English character he had played for many years, however, he eventually softened towards him and coveted his wardrobe.

"I took my entire closet," The Batman star said, before adding that he recently found himself "wanting to wear a pair of fake glasses so much".

The Challengers actress remarked, "You've done a 360 from hating Charlie so much to being like, 'He's really cool and I'm invested in his life'... You were very against them (the glasses) for a moment there."

After making The Drama, Pattinson and Zendaya ended up working together on two more consecutive projects - Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey and Dune: Part Three.

All three are due to be released this year, with The Drama coming out in April, The Odyssey hitting cinemas in July and Dune: Part Three slated for release in December.
