Rihanna has long been notorious for leaving clubs with a glass in hand - a move so effortlessly cool it birthed a thousand memes and further solidified her 'bad gal' status.

So for her to be spotted at a massive LA music festival sipping from a pink champagne flute from a New Zealand company? That's SAYIN' something.

While hanging side-of-stage at Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival to watch her man A$AP Rocky perform, Riri was photographed with friends - casual fit, flawless face card, pink stainless steel Huski Champagne Flute in hand. And just like that, a Taranaki-born drinkware brand went mega viral.

Rihanna's navy immediately became TikTok sleuths, combing through slowed-down clips, zooming in on screenshots, and trawling Amazon listings until they confirmed it: Rihanna had upgraded her iconic 'walk out of the club with a glass' accessory to a safer, festival-friendly, Kiwi-made stainless steel version to keep whatever she was sipping on chilled to perfection.

It’s a massive moment for Huski, which started less than a decade ago in a Taranaki farm shed and now exports to over 50 countries. Founder Simon Huesser won’t name-drop - very demure, very Kiwi - but says the team is thrilled to see such a style icon carrying their stemware. And yes, they’re already preparing for a global export surge.

Rihanna was toting the Powder Pink shade of the stainless steel flute, which is one of Huski’s fastest-selling colours, which is no wonder given how Millennials and Gen Z feel about it.

Insulated drinkware like the kind Huski makes can often be associated with rugged outdoor adventures like camping and hiking, but Riri's use of it is giving 'my drink is cold, but I look HOT'.

One minute she’s turning a glass from the club into a memeable fashion statement… the next she’s boosting a Kiwi brand into global orbit. Truly, she remains Mother.
