Rihanna has reminded everyone why she's one of the most loved celebrities around after a confidence boosting interaction with a fan living with cancer.
The sweet moment happened while the singer was out grocery shopping with Hollywood Unlocked creator Jason Lee, when a fan approached her and admitted she was feeling insecure about her appearance.
"I look terrible. I live with cancer. Can I take a picture with you?" the woman asked.
Without any hesitation, Rihanna shut down the negative self-talk.
"You don't look terrible," she replied before happily posing for a photo.
The fan, who shares Rihanna's first name, Robyn, explained she wasn't wearing her wig and feels more confident with it on.
But Riri wasn't having ANY of it.
"You know what I live for? A good hairline, honey. This is what I like to see," she said, pointing to the woman's natural hair.
Anytime you meet anybody, don't do that s***. You're fire just like that.
"Can I quote you?" Robyn asked. "Hell yeah! Verbatim," Rihanna said.
"Don't ever do that again. You're fire as is."
The woman thanked the Riri, saying, "You make me feel good."
The wholesome interaction has since gone viral, with fans praising Rihanna for the way she immediately built the woman up.
"You never know which conversation someone will carry with them for the rest of their life. This might be one of those moments," one person wrote.
Another added: "Kindness is a superpower."
A third said: "You could see Rihanna was instantly trying to lift her up. That's the kind of energy people remember."
It's a simple interaction, but one that can make a huge difference. It's a good reminder that a few kind words can go a long way.
