Queens of the Stone Age have just announced they’re heading back to New Zealand this December, wrapping up a huge Australia and New Zealand tour with one massive Auckland show.
It's been a couple of years since Josh Homme and co. last made it down this way, and they've just confirmed they'll hit Spark Arena on Sunday, December 20. Better yet, they're not coming alone.
Joining them are legendary oddballs Primus and Aussie art-punk chaos merchants Tropical Fuck Storm, making for one hell of a stacked line-up.
The tour marks Queens of the Stone Age's first shows in the region since 2024, and Kiwi fans will also be the first to see the band's brand-new live show after their current run through Europe with System of a Down and upcoming dates with Foo Fighters.
As if that wasn't enough, the announcement comes hot on the heels of their brand-new single Easy Street, their first new music since 2023's In Times New Roman.
If you've never seen QOTSA live, you're in for a treat. Whether it's No One Knows, Little Sister, My God Is the Sun or Emotion Sickness, they've built a reputation as one of the best live rock bands on the planet, and somehow they keep getting better.
