New Zealand artist PRINS is having a moment, and it shows no signs of slowing down. In an interview with Ollie and Lucy from The Edge Nights, the singer opened up about her whirlwind past few months and a world tour that will take her across three continents.

"I went down last week to perform at Synthony, the opening of the brand new stadium. That was insane."

The performance took place in front of a staggering crowd of nearly 37,000 fans at the opening of Te Kaha Stadium’s ‘One In A Lifetime’ gig, which also saw Six60 headlining.

Reflecting on the sheer scale of the gig, PRINS described it as a "surreal experience" but admitted how unpredictable stadium acoustics can be.

When you're in the room with all of those people, it actually changes the dynamic of the sound," she explained. "You never know what it's gonna be until you sing the first note, and that is a terrifying experience.

The massive global run will take her through the United States in September, the UK and Europe in October, and Australia and New Zealand in November.

The tour will wrap up with a final hometown show at Auckland’s iconic Powerstation on November 28th.

If you have seen a PRINS show, this is gonna be very different to anything you've seen before.

Capping off the excitement, PRINS dropped an exclusive announcement for New Zealand Music Month: her new single, "Subliminal," features a surprise collaboration with Auckland rapper Jujulipps.

With a charting EP, a viral stadium performance, a new collaborative single, and a world tour on the horizon, PRINS is clearly just getting started.
