Despite reports she’d split from her husband of 20 years, Pink and Carey Hart are still very much together.
Earlier this morning, multiple outlets reported the couple had officially called it quits - but not according to Pink herself.
In an Instagram video chatting to followers, Pink called the claims “fake news”.
“I was just alerted to the fact that, uh, I’m separated from my husband,” she began. “I didn’t know. Thank you, People magazine. Thank you, Us Weekly.”
Thank you for letting me know. I was wondering, would you also like to tell our children? My 14 and nine-year-old are also unaware.
She urged outlets to focus on some “real news” instead, pointing to the unfolding Epstein files and recent controversy involving the US men’s hockey team and Donald Trump.
Pink also noted she’s been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in her first year of eligibility.
“Do you want to talk about my accomplishments, or do you only want to talk about my supposed demise?” she said.
She wrapped up by again calling the divorce reports “fake news”.
Trash news. You can do better!
She captioned the post: “Like I always say, if you don’t hear it from me, don’t believe the hype. Stay tuned though! Who knows what could happen next!?!”
Fans flooded the comments praising her for calling out the rumours.
“The queen has spoken,” one wrote, while another added she’s “always been the realest.”
“Every time she opens her mouth, it’s intelligent and iconic! She is and has always been a rockstar,” someone else wrote.
How could you not love her?
