Perrie Edwards marries Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in Portugal

Perrie Edwards has married Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in an intimate ceremony in the Algarve region of Portugal.

The wedding took place on Saturday 13 June, according the Daily Mail.

The Little Mix alum and her footballer beau, who have been engaged since 2022, said "I do" at the idyllic Igreja Matriz de Estoi church in the village of Estoi, about 10 km (6 miles) north of Faro.

The Sweet Melody singer wore a white corseted wedding dress with long sleeves and lace detailing, according to the outlet.

Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain, who plays for the Scottish Premiership club Celtic, share children Axel, four, and Alanis, five months.

They were first linked in 2016 after meeting on the celebrity dating app Raya, but didn't date until Edwards saw the soccer star on an episode of Celebrity Gogglebox.

"I messaged him saying, 'Do you want to go out for a drink or whatever? Do you want to take me out?'" she shared on an episode of Fearne Cotton's Happy Place podcast.

"And then he replied, 'It's a school night tonight.' He was so focused on football. I could barely get him out of the house. It was also annoying, but I was like, 'Fair enough.'"

Edwards, who previously dated One Direction alum Zayn Malik, revealed it was love at first sight when she finally saw Oxlade-Chamberlain in person.

"Eventually, we met up and the second I'd seen him at Cirque nightclub doorway, I knew he was mine," she recalled. "I was like, 'Oh, my God. I'm obsessed.' He was so handsome, and he was dressed so nice and his hair was so nice and I was just like, 'F**k. I love him.'"
