Perrie Edwards has branded her former Little Mix bandmate Jesy Nelson "difficult".
Jesy left the girl group in December 2020, and at the time, claimed living in the spotlight had impacted her mental health.
During an interview for the latest episode of Jamie Laing's Great Company podcast, Perrie slammed Jesy for failing to acknowledge her own behaviour before decided to quit.
"What annoys me is the most, and again I have to be careful how I say this as I don't want to seem like a b***h but for me what upsets me the most is when situations like this happen and the other person doesn't take any accountability, that boils my blood!" Perrie shared.
"I am not blaming everything on you, I am not saying that she's this f****ing monster and everything was her thought blah, blah, blah but take some accountability for your actions and realise you were difficult, you did have difficult moments," she continued.
Following Jesy's departure Perrie, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall continued to perform as a trio, before deciding to pursue solo careers in 2022.
Jesy has previously admitted she hasn't spoken to the rest of the group since her departure.
The 34-year-old singer also claimed in her recent documentary, Life After Little Mix, she had felt alone in the band and accused the other girls of failing to support her when she was struggling.
When asked if she would consider a reunion with Jesy, Perrie made it clear that was unlikely to happen.
"Part of me wanted to, until the documentary, and then I withdrew," she admitted.
"This is the thing I am not a horrible person, I haven't got a band bone in my body but I can cut you off. I can cut you out of my life like that, if you upset me and hurt me in a way there's not really any going back," Perrie continued.
While Perrie insisted she would always cherish their time together, the singer admitted she didn't have space in her life for Jesy.
"I don't have the capacity for someone like that in my life anymore and that might make me sound like a b***h but I just don't have that the energy for it and as much as I will always love her I don't think I can hack that energy in my space," she shared.
As she continued to discuss the rift, Perrie revealed she had felt blindsided by Jessy's comments.
The 32-year-old star also insisted Jesy could have made more of an effort to feel part of the group.
"Don't put the blame on me and make me out to be something I am not, yes I am not perfect and I might not have been there enough or I could have done better I suppose," Perrie fumed.
"But I thought what I was doing was enough, I thought that I tried everything and so then to sit there in further interviews and discuss it publicly and be like, 'I wasn't supported', you were though... so take some accountability," she added.
