Fans are used to seeing Peking Duk as festie headliners, playing to massive crowds on epic stages, but a handful of 'real ones' got up close and personal with the lads at a secret show in an Auckland city church last week.
The Aussie DJ duo played an intimate gig to a couple of hundred of their most hardcore Kiwi fans at St Matthew-in-the-city, a 120-year-old Gothic church in the CBD.

George FM's Sin and Brook opened for the boys, warming up the crowd and setting the scene for a hectic party on an unsuspecting school night.
The exclusive event was put on by Westpac, which is making moves in the music space by bringing customers presale and preferred tickets to the best gigs in town, as well as offering some pretty priceless experiences through its partnership with Mastercard.
By the time Peking Duk's Reuben Styles and Adam Hyde appeared at the altar, the crowd was frothing. "Welcome to the house of God!" Adam said over the mic, prompting the crowd to let rip with a huge "Amen!"
Against a backdrop of unreal architecture and stained glass, the boys treated us to a flawless party set featuring some of their biggest hits like 'Wasted' and 'Fire', as well as some brand new unreleased tunes.
They also artfully smashed together songs like 'Girls' by The Dare into Haddaway's 'What is Love' and dropped remixes of Sean Paul and The Venga Boys. If you've never sung Fleetwood Mac's 'Everywhere' in a church bathed in rainbow light before it drops into 'Pump It' by The Black Eyed Peas… I am sorry for your loss.

Another highlight was an impromptu a cappella sing-along to Gotye's 'Somebody That I Used To Know', which even seemed to catch the DJs off guard.
Before the night ended, Reuben told the crowd how much Peking Duk love playing for Kiwi crowds, and how epic it was for them to go from playing tiny venues on Karangahape Road to this epic location with such dedicated fans.
There was only one tune that could close the set - their smash hit 'High', which had the whole crowd holding up their phone torches and up on each other's shoulders. Immaculate vibes.

Westpac is keen to create "unforgettable moments for the fans" with their new presale offering, and with this launch event, it's safe to say they did just that. Bring on the next gig!
