'Pathetic': Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde hate continues after they address jealous fans

Fuel has been added to the fire!

Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles have hit out at the "toxic negativity" their relationship has received from fans.

In a recent interview for Harry's cover story on the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine, Olivia shared that she didn't understand hateful comments about her and admitted most of the singer's followers were "true champions of kindness".

Harry admitted in the interview that horrible comments about his girlfriend "obviously" don't make him "feel good".

Olivia added: "What I don't understand about the cruelty you're referencing is that that kind of toxic negativity is the antithesis of Harry and everything he puts out there."

"I don't personally believe the hateful energy defines his fan base at all. The majority of them are true champions of kindness."

If you didn't already know the pair met on the set of their upcoming movie 'Don't Worry Darling', which Olivia directed.

Despite keeping things quiet at the start, many clocked on that the two were romantic with each other when they were caught holding hands at Harry's manager and close friend, Jeffery Azoff's wedding back in January 2021.

Instantly the pair began receiving negative reactions to their budding romance, and rumours began to circulate.

It seems that despite opening up about their relationship and the effect "negative" comments have had, it has just added fuel to the fan's fire.

One Twitter user has harshly shared: "I hate Olivia Wilde, and I'm not sorry for that."

Another shared that they "will always hate Olivia Wilde, and the people who have a problem with it can argue with the wall."

A third claims they don't care that she is dating Harry and called Olivia "a disgusting person".

However, a large amount of support has sparked in recent days.

One person asked when fans will "stop hating on women because of their relationships with men".

Another said, "the hate people hold in their hearts is very sad and pathetic.".

A third asked, "have you considered life outside of Twitter?"

We couldn't have said it better ourselves!

Harry is not the most online person, but even with the boundaries he's set between his public and private lives, sometimes "other people blur the lines for you," he says.

"I just wanted to sing. I didn't want to get into it if I was going to hurt people like that."

It must be extremely hard for the pair to constantly be criticised and judged. It makes it very clear why they have kept their romance on the d-low as the relationship continues.
