Parris Goebel shares why her dad is her biggest supporter in BTS look at her Super Bowl journey

"My dad believed in me and did everything in his power to give me a place to express myself."

Parris Goebel absolutely smashed the choreography for Rihanna's epic Super Bowl halftime show and she's shared a behind-the-scenes look into what went into the outstanding performance and how it all became a full circle moment.

Posting to Instagram, Parris revealed that she started working on the dance that ended up levitating above the field.

Sharing the initial stages of the routine Parris stands in place of RiRi to get fully involved in her creative process and we simply love to see it.

Despite being a crazily successful creative genius, Parris always remembers her roots.

She shared that the iconic performance was a full circle moment for her and the person we have to thank for that is her dad.

Revealing on her Instagram story Parris shared a photo of one of her old YouTube videos where she choreographed a dance to Rihanna's 'Disturbia' and shared an adorable story of how her dad contributed to her passion for dance.

"I just want to express the power of supporting people around you, especially parents supporting your kids," she began.

"After I had dropped out of school, I had nowhere to dance, so my dad cleared the back of his warehouse in Manukau, back home in New Zealand and created a little dance space for me."

She continued: "He put down carpet and leaned mirrors against the wall so I could have somewhere to choreograph every day."

"My dad believed in me and did everything in his power to give me a place to express myself. Neither of us knew that 14 years later I would be doing the Super Bowl for the very artist I was making up moves to in the back of his warehouse."

Parris ended her post paying a loving thanks to her dad and said that the most special moment of the event was that she was able to fly her dad out to Arizona to watch her do her thang in person.

I'd also like to thank Parris' dad because without him we wouldn't be able to celebrate all the wicked performances choreographed by the Kiwi Queen!
